ACAPULCO GOLD RESERVE
ACAPULCO GOLD RESERVE
Acapulco Gold (1995) X Oaxacana Gold (1988)
9-10 Weeks Flowering (63-70 Days)
A Mexican strain from the mid-60s, grown in Guerrero and Oaxaca. It emerged as a result of a cross of several generations between native Mexican genetics and Thai strains. During the resinous cannabis boom, seeds from Nepal were introduced to these regions, giving rise to a tropical sativa with a lot of resin. Acapulco Gold became very famous for its buds, which are a unique golden color.
This strain spread throughout the world at the beginning of the hippie era. It is a hybrid sativa with 70% sativa dominance. The buds are elongated and very resinous. During the vegetative state, it has large leaves.
The aroma is characteristically earthy and spicy with touches of mango. The effect is corporal and helps to increase the sensitivity of the extremities.
