Panama Red is a truly iconic strain with a fascinating history. Originating from the Darién region of Urabá, which encompasses Colombia and Panama, this strain has a unique history due to its cultivation in a jungle environment during the 1960s. At that time, Panama did not have strict laws against cannabis, which allowed that will be grown freely in the jungle, resulting in plants with a tall structure and an abundant amount of leaves.  This strain has created a genetic impact since it has been one of the parent strains in other legendary varieties such as Punto Rojo, contributing its distinctive characteristics to those strains.      

• Color, Appearance and Structure: 100% sativa, with a tall structure and many branches. Buds grow along all branches, which can help maximize yield with a shade of color. Colors can vary depending on growing height, adding an interesting visual dimension. It's leaves are thin with a pine-shaped structure, a common characteristic in sativas.   Was adapted to maximize flower production in a jungle environment.
