Thai Heirloom (1980)

Flowering 14 Weeks (90-95 Days)

Cannabis has its roots in the Nepal and Hindu Kush regions. These mountainous areas in Central Asia have historically been important in the cultivation and use of cannabis due to their favorable natural environment.   The Mongol invasion of Asia, which took place in the 13th century under the leadership of Genghis Khan and his successors, had a significant impact on the region's trade and cultural routes, facilitating the movement of seeds across Asia.

During and after the Mongol invasion, cannabis moved through Asia to Southeast Asia, including Thailand and Indonesia. In these regions, cannabis adapted to new conditions and, through natural selection, evolved into different varieties.  This expansion and adaptation of cannabis in Asia demonstrates how cultural and geographic interactions can influence the evolution of cannabis varieties. Natural selection in different regions led to the emergence of sativa strains with unique characteristics adapted to their new environments.

  • Color, Appearance and Structure: It has thin, long and thin leaves, typical of sativas.  This structure helps the plant adapt to hot and humid climates.  Their pistils are very abundant on all flowers, which may contribute to the striking appearance and resin production.  Its branches have very little internodal space, resulting in a dense plant with many buds.  100% sativa. The buds are very elongated, with fluffy and light-looking flowers, similar to cotton.
  • Aroma and Flavor: Earthy aromas and flavors, of tobacco and tea.
  • Flowering Time: 14 weeks.
  • Effects: The effect is also very euphoric with happiness, creativity and active dynamics.
